As a lover of good anthro and animal art I thought I'd start a thread for celebrating the Non BJD artists we know and love who produce this type of work.
I have several I've admired over the years but first would be Australia's own Norman Lindsay (1879-1969). He's better known for his famous nudes, as the author and illustrator of the children's book, The Magic Pudding and his political comics. However, as a cat owner and lover he also loved to draw cats, including short comic strips and some gorgeous anthropomorphised felines as well. I came across a book of Norman Lindsay's cats at my local library in my early teens and have been in love with his cat-art ever since.
Here's a few examples:-

Another of my favourites and an earlier inspiration of mine is soft sculptor and doll artist, Jo Ellen Trilling who has produced some gorgeous anthropomorphic pieces over the years.

Some more recent favourites (in the past few years) would include:-
Lackadaisy comic artist, Tracy J Butler :- tracyjb.deviantart.com/gallery/ and www.lackadaisycats.com/
The always adorable work of Silverfox5213 silverfox5213.deviantart.com/
Then there's also The amazing fantastical animal and fantasy beast sculptures of Ellen June creaturesfromel.deviantart.com/ and sculptor Beth Cavener Stichter www.followtheblackrabbit.com/
These are just a few I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. Would anyone else like to share any artists whos anthro and animal works they admire?
