Welcome, Aniiksa! Great work on the sculpture there, I particularly love the colouring work! And congrats on the Zuzus too. Can I ask which ones you and your girlfriend are waiting on?
I finally have my first Zuzu as of last year, a romance Lio Incubus from last year's Haunted Series release and was really tempted by I couple of the Journey to the West releases, most of them actually, but really couldn't justify the cost at the time...even more so when Luts then released their Leo Griffins at the end of last year ($500 just to include face-up and blushing with none of the extras is just a bit much for a tiny for me). For now I am just happy to have my little Lio as I had been wanting a limited Lio ever since the 2009 Lio Santa Claus release and now I finally have my little cutie.
I'd love to see your progress on your sculpture there, and best wishes as you work on him. I know that fear very well (the one where you sculpt a part really well and then you worry about screwing up the rest of the whole) so my fingers are crossed for you that you get past it and do brilliantly!
There used to be a whole host of great art doll forums around in the late 90s / early 2000s but I don't know what happened to them all. All the links I had to a whole bunch of great resources from back then have gone dead, sadly. It's great, then, at least that we have the home / handcast doll section of the forum here where people can share their work as it's something I know I too am looking to get back into too.
