Pinkie Cooper and the Jet Set Pets

Why haven't these cuties made their way here yet? My daughter loves Littlest Pet Shop pets,  especially the puppies, and the head shape and big eyes these cuties have would , ake them great anthro caretakers for her LPS brood. She's already fallen in love with them after seeing these gorgeous pics. ^^

Your Jet Set Pets girls are gorgeous,  cattwo, and great photos. Out of curiosity,  can I ask what company makes them? Since they are a Carter Bryant concept design, is it also MGA Entertainment?

Oh NO! I hope not! Just to be safe, though, I went and hunted down a "Pinkie & Lil' Pinkie in Paris" on Ebay an made an offer! My daughter would kill me if we don't end up with any of these gorgeous girls! So sad they never tried anything here...I would have LOVED to see these available in Toys R Us, or even a local online retailer (shipping from the US and UK is a killer). I would have happily become a collector, and I know my daughter would have happily joined me there too!

Congrats on your incoming Pinkie, jenkat! I still haven't been able to find anything else to confirm that they'll no longer be made, so there's still hope. Yes, I think you're right about customizing them - I think they would be fun to work on. Hope your daughter enjoys Pinkie and has a lot of fun with her!

Oh wow, I'm impressed! Pinkie arrived just the other day and although I've not had a chance to take any decent photos yet I have to admit these girls are very very well made! You can see the typical Carter Bryant Bratz style influence both in their height and shape, along with that typical style of articulated vinyl "click" knee joint that are very reminiscent of the old "vintage" Barbie dolls I remember growing up with in the 80s. To add to the nostalgia are the little combs these girls come with which remind me a lot of of the old original Gen1 My Little Pony combs ^^ I love those gorgeous big eyes of hers and they look like, if you were wanting to give customization a go, they could possibly be removed and replaced with other atypical dome or globe style doll eyes too. All the more reason I hope we haven't seen the end of these girls.

Just to add too, loving the matte finish to her vinyl - nothing shiny but the gloss paint finish used for her eyes and painted nail tips, and her tiny clothes are so well made! Also, unlike many of the Bratz girls I have to admit loving the fact her footwear is removable and isn't permanently fixed to her leg / foot! The only thing I find a bit disconcerting is the obvious weft ends on her ear-wig components. I can see the idea was to make a component that could be easily removed and interchanged, and hold up to a lot of wear in doing so. However, it's a little bit similar to when pony tail clips for bjd wigs are not very well made. It makes me want to put big bows on her ears to hide these bits. I wonder if this is one of the parts of her design that is letting her down at the moment, or whether it is simply that the children's toy market just isn't ready to accept her particular style of anthro doll.

Wow, those Amazon prices on both Pinkie and firends, clothes and accessories are wonderful, but sadly as is usual on almost anything other than books, music and DVDs / BluRays they don't offer an option for shipping to Australia

I was actually looking at the ear-wig parts yesterday trying to figure out what options would be available to change the look of these. When I have the time I would love to play with some ideas here if I can come up with something that replicates the ear plug components as I don't want to take Pinkie's original ones apart. There's a couple of outfits with free shipping in Australia which include the wig parts up on Ebay at the moment - tempted to get one of those and use the wig components there to experiment with.
